How Going works
One button, and your friends know where you are on Saturday. What Going does, who sees it and how you set it up.

Every night in PartyPPL has a button: I'm going. It is the smallest button in the app, and the most important one.
What happens when you say you are going
The night goes into your own list, so you can find it again. Your friends see that you are going. And it works the other way round too: a night shows which of your friends are already going. So you know before you buy a ticket whether you will be there on your own.
Who sees it
Your friends. People who are not your friends do not see your name. If your profile is private, nobody sees it. You set that in your settings, and you can always change it back.
The group chat
Every night has a group chat. Whether you join it straight away when you say you are going is up to you, set once when you create your account: always join, ask me first, or never. By default we ask. Later you can join or leave the chat at any time, from the night's page or in the chat itself, without changing whether you are going. Buying a ticket follows the same choice.
Signing in
You need to be signed in to say you are going, invite someone or use the chat. You sign in with your e-mail and a six-digit code, or with Apple on your iPhone. Browsing the agenda works without an account.
