These are the details articles 3:15d and 6:230m of the Dutch Civil Code require from a service provider. Every agreement with PartyPPL is with NEXG3N. Post reaches us at the address above; for anything faster, e-mail works better.
2Who makes it
PartyPPL is conceived and edited by party people who stand in the room themselves. The agenda team checks what organisers and visitors post; the moderation team handles reports; the editors write the news.
The software is designed and built by NEXG3N: design, website, apps, backend, infrastructure and the security baseline.
Why this platform exists is on About.
3What it runs on
- Hosting and database
- A server of our own at OVHcloud in Germany (Limburg an der Lahn), with the database, the stored files and the realtime chat. Cloudflare sits in front for DNS, CDN and attack protection, so all traffic passes through Cloudflare.
- Payments
- Stripe, with Stripe Connect Express for payouts to organisers.
- Resend.
- AI
- Claude by Anthropic, for completing public event data. On the iPhone, Apple Intelligence, on the device itself.
- Apple
- Push notifications, Live Activities, Apple Wallet and Sign in with Apple.
- Maps
- MapLibre with map tiles from OpenFreeMap, based on OpenStreetMap data. © OpenStreetMap contributors.
- Fonts
- Unbounded and DM Sans, open source and served from our own server.
What that means for your privacy is in the privacy statement and on the cookie page.
4Where the event data comes from
- Organisers
- Post themselves through the portal, for free. Goes past the agenda team, usually within 24 hours.
- Visitors
- Submit a night at /aanmelden. That goes past the agenda team too.
- Import
- We read the public agendas of clubs, festivals, promoters and ticket platforms: structured data on their own pages, public feeds and official APIs. Those events go live automatically, with a filter on date, duplicates and whether it is nightlife.
- Completion
- What is missing, a model (Claude) looks up on the organiser's site and at the shop: poster, site map, ticket types, the official shop, prices elsewhere and token prices. Prices and token prices are shown as an indication, with source and date; a site map goes past a person first.
We take facts: what, when, where, who plays, what a ticket costs, where to buy it, from what age. Plus the poster. We do not copy other people's texts; we write descriptions ourselves from the facts.
Our importer is called PartyPPLBot, works with a fixed maximum of requests per round and reads robots.txt first for some of the sources. Every source is named on Sources; that is where the credit is, not under each event. The ticket button on an event page goes to the official shop.
5Our channels
New nights and a weekend overview are posted automatically on our own accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky and Mastodon. They contain only public event data: title, date, venue, city, genres, price, poster and link. Never anything about visitors.
6"This is wrong"
Something wrong about your club, festival, act or event? We fix it. You do not need an account.
Mail [email protected] with the link and what is wrong:
- Wrong details: the right date, time, line-up, price or age limit. For venues, artists and organisations you can also suggest a correction yourself when logged in.
- Wrong venue or organiser: we link it correctly.
- Stop importing: we take the source out. No discussion.
- Taking over: if you organise it, you can claim the page and manage it yourself. Artists claim their profile through For artists.
- Images: if you hold the rights and want it gone, it goes.
We respond within five working days. Urgent, such as a wrong date just before the event? Put "urgent" in the subject.
7Reporting unlawful content
If you think something on PartyPPL is unlawful, such as a copyright infringement, defamation, a privacy violation or other illegal content, report it. This is our point of contact under the Digital Services Act. The full procedure, with the statement of reasons, appeals and measures against misuse, is on Reports and appeals.
- Reporting address
- [email protected], with "melding" in the subject
- Faster, on the site and in the app
- The Report button on every message, review, report, question and answer, photo and profile
- Languages
- Dutch and English
- Point of contact for authorities
- The same address, in Dutch or English
Put in your report:
- the exact link to the content;
- why you think it is unlawful;
- your name and e-mail address (except for child sexual abuse, which can be anonymous);
- that your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
What happens next:
- An acknowledgement, by e-mail by the next working day at the latest.
- A person assesses the report, normally within 24 hours, at the latest within five working days.
- You hear what we decided and why. The person concerned gets the same reasons and hears what they can do about it, unless we cannot reach them or an investigation would suffer.
- Both sides can object within six months at the same address. Someone other than the person who decided answers within five working days.
If you still disagree, you can go to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under article 21 DSA, or to court. We are not a member of such a body, but we cooperate.
What happens automatically and what does not. Public text gets an automatic score on signals of scams, hate, threats, drug dealing and spam; with a high score the text waits for a person and the writer sees that it is waiting. Removing and suspending is always done by a person. Also automatic: the import filter, rate limits and the fixed price on resale.
If you repeatedly file manifestly unfounded reports, or repeatedly post manifestly unlawful content, we may block that for a while. We warn first.
Conduct between users goes faster through Report; see the house rules.

- Five new legal pages in the overview: refunds, reports and appeals, the data processing agreement, subprocessors and the API terms.
- Since 30 September 2026 PartyPPL runs on a server of our own at OVHcloud in Germany, no longer at Cloudflare. Cloudflare is still in front for DNS, CDN and protection.
