THE WEB APP, PER DEVICE

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open partyppl.nl in Safari.
  2. Tap the share button, the square with the arrow pointing up.
  3. Pick 'Add to Home Screen' and tap Add.

Android

  1. Open partyppl.nl in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right.
  3. Pick 'Install app' or 'Add to home screen'.

Windows, Mac and Linux with Chrome or Edge

  1. Open partyppl.nl in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon on the right of the address bar.
  3. Click Install. PartyPPL gets its own window and its own icon.

Mac with Safari

  1. Open partyppl.nl in Safari 17 or newer.
  2. Go to File in the menu bar.
  3. Pick 'Add to Dock'.

WHAT WORKS OFFLINE

  • Your tickets with their QR code, if you opened them before. Useful in a basement or on a field with no signal, exactly where you need them.
  • Nights you said "I'm going" to, within 30 days: the event page, the artists, the site map and your checklist.
  • Buying and chatting need a connection. "I'm going", "Interested" and ticket alerts are remembered and sent once you are back online.

NOTIFICATIONS

Turn notifications on and you hear when a friend is going somewhere, when ticket sales open, when there is an update about an event you are attending and when something happens in your group chat. You pick which kinds you want. On iPhone this works in the web app once it is on your home screen, and soon in the App Store app.

COMING SOON TO THE APP STORE

For iPhone and iPad an app is coming to the App Store, with the Apple Watch included; the same app runs on the Mac and the Apple TV. It is being tested now. It needs version 26 of iOS, iPadOS, macOS or tvOS. Until then, and on Android, Windows, Linux or an older Apple device, you use the web app: same agenda, same tickets, same account.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Is there an app in the App Store?

Soon, for iPhone and iPad from iOS 26, with an app for the Apple Watch; the same app runs on the Mac and the Apple TV. It is being tested now. Until it is out, and on Android and older devices, you put the web app on your home screen: the same agenda with the same account.

What does the app do that the web app does not?

The app is coming to the App Store soon, with widgets, a Live Activity on the night itself, alarms, Siri, logging in with Face ID and your ticket in the Watch app. The agenda, tickets and chats are the same. Apple Wallet works already, from the site too.

Can my ticket go into Apple Wallet?

Yes. Your ticket has Add to Apple Wallet. The pass works at the door, also without a signal, and updates itself if the event is postponed or cancelled. Pass the ticket on and your pass becomes void. There is no Google Wallet.

Does my ticket work without a signal?

Yes, if you opened it before: in the web app and in Apple Wallet, on your Apple Watch too. Say "I'm going" to a night within 30 days and the site gets that night ready for offline.

Can I log in with Face ID?

Yes. On any device you can create a passkey in your settings, which you unlock with Face ID, Touch ID or your device code. A code by e-mail always works. In the app, coming soon, you can also sign in with Apple.

What is Wake me?

A real alarm in the iPhone app, coming soon to the App Store: half an hour before the doors or a quarter of an hour before a set, also when your phone is on silent. The alarm lives on your phone; we see nothing of it.

Does it work with Siri and the camera?

Soon, in the iPhone app that is coming to the App Store. Then you ask "What's on tonight in PartyPPL" or "Navigate to my next party with PartyPPL", point your camera at a poster to find that party and see your upcoming nights in Spotlight.

Are widgets coming?

Yes, with the app that is coming to the App Store: Tonight, This weekend, My next night, Friends going and Followed artists, on your home screen and lock screen. On the night itself a Live Activity shows the time to the doors and who is playing now. The Apple Watch gets Tonight and your ticket.

Can I see PartyPPL on my Apple TV?

Soon. The Apple TV app comes to the App Store together with the iPhone app. You then pair the TV with your iPhone and unpair it in your settings. The TV shows no tickets.

And on the Mac?

Soon the same app runs there, with widgets, notifications, a badge in the Dock, the menu bar and your nights in Spotlight and Calendar. Until then, add the site to your Dock in Safari, see above.

Is there an Android app?

No. On Android you install the web app from Chrome, as described above.

Does it take up space on my phone?

A few megabytes, plus the pages and nights ready for offline. Under Tickets you see what is ready and remove it.

Do I need to update?

The web app picks up the latest version the moment you open it. There is nothing for you to update.

Can I skip installing?

Yes. Everything works in your browser. Installing gets you notifications, offline tickets and an icon on your home screen.
